Shrinathji at Nathdwara is the chief shrine of the Pushtimarg (Vallabh) tradition and one of the busiest temples in Rajasthan. The image of child Krishna was brought here from Govardhan in 1672. Darshan is not continuous — the deity is seen in eight short jhankis through the day — so timing your visit matters.
Distance and route from Udaipur
Nathdwara is about 48 km from Udaipur (published figures range from 41 to 50 km) and takes about an hour to an hour and a quarter by road on NH-48, passing Eklingji at Kailashpuri and Delwara.
